It can be placed on the ground. Its’ penetrating gaze follows every move in the space.

Description: Eucalyptus branch (Eucalyptus globulus) and a single pebble. Old mountain fountains once channelled water through hand-carved wooden spouts. This eucalyptus branch naturally echoes their form, a wooden palm cradling a perfectly round pebble, like a giant drop of water suspended in time.

Description: Aleppo pine branch (Pinus halepensis) and a large pebble. My intervention in nature’s own artistry is always kept to a minimum. This branch already carried such a clear and expressive gesture that only one thing seemed to be missing: fingers. And so, fingers were all I gave it.
